Why does limited freedom of speech work in different countires?

Well this is for my HW, and I can’t think on this because I’ve grown up in 2 countries where there is freedom of speech. So I thought I should ask to get some answers. Thanks
By this I mean what is the benefit of Limited Freedom Of Speech.

   That’s what their government is telling you, the people have no voice.

   Freedom of those corporations with government controlled by big corporations which distorts our free in fact the perspective of democracy.
   Freedom of those in favor of democracy.
