What is a good symbol for freedom that might make a nice tattoo?

Celtic Peace is still optimistic asked:


I have been thinking about a tattoo on my shoulder blade and want something to represent freedom. No butterflies please. I’m looking for something that is less common that expresses both a connection to the universe while acknowledging my individuality.

   What about a dove tattoo? Or maybe some other type of bird, like a swallow? You could also get the word “freedom” but maybe you could do it in another language so it would be a little more original. Here are some nice examples: (free in tagalong)

   A well designed.. condor..or eagle would not be so bad…

   personaly I would probably go with a wolf.. or even a high flying raven..*wink* wink*..

   alot depends on the qwuality of the image you choose..
