How much freedom should a teenager have?

My son is 18, with one more year of high school, part time job (doesn’t pay a whole lot) , and his first serious girlfriend. He wants to spend all of his time with her, from sunup to sundown it seems like. I don’t want to be one of those moms that won’t cut the apron strings but how much freedom should he really be given?

   An adult he wants to spend his time how he is living in your house and doesnt like your house and do it on his time how he is living in your rules.
   An adult he wants to spend his own.
